An extremely unusual silver model of a fat grotesque fish with large bug type eyes and with wide open gaping mouth, the fish is being carried by two tortoises.The detail is exceptional and the fish is very reminiscent of Victorian spoon warmer similar to what was being produced by the Martin Brothers at this time.
