This very interesting silver tea set comprises, tea pot, sugar bowl and cream jug and all contained in its original black leatherette case, the interior is fitted for the items. Silver marks for Birmingham 1906 and with makers initials M & C. The front of the tea pot has a six line presentation inscription to Naval Lieutenant N.V.Rashleigh as a gift on his wedding day in 1945 from his fellow officers. The reverse side is engraved with the naval anchor and kings crown for George the 6th. Complete with some research on this officer. Near mint condition.
