A superb advertising stonware barrel standing at 10 inches in total height.Blue central band with raised description of original contents,CLOVES,flanked by green bands with decorative flower designs.Complete with brass tap.Base marked Royal Doulton England,artists initials HH,above this is stamped,THIS IS THE PROPERTY OF H.D.RAWLINGS LTD (a well known Victorian/Edwardian mineral water manufacturer).A very nice excample,mostly examples seen are for ginger wine it is unusual to find an examples for Cloves and especially nice with the advertising for Rawlings.
